Rangers struck gold during the January transfer window by signing Ianis Hagi from Racing Genk and the 21-year-old talent is going to stay at Ibrox at least until the summer when his loan spell comes to an end.But recently, Rangers correspondent Jordan Campbell talked to none other than Hagi’s father, the legendary Gheorghe Hagi, and discussed his son’s first steps in Scotland and his first goal for the new team. And this interview also prompted one of the fans to ask the million-dollar question – is Hagi going to be signed permanently by Steven Gerrard come the summer? Here’s what Campbell had to say in response:
And while the reporter doesn’t have a concrete answer to that question, he seems to think that Hagi would definitely be a good investment if he continues to grow and perform well.
Of course, for now, it’s still far too early to tell. After all, he’s only made three appearances for Rangers and has bagged one goal in the process as well.
The future certainly looks bright for the young talent.
Meanwhile, many Rangers fans were absolutely delighted with one man’s display vs Hibs…
