Taking to Twitter, reliable reporter Fabrizio Romano has shared the latest on Tottenham Hotspur summer target and Fiorentina star Dusan Vlahovic.
The Lowdown: Spurs in Vlahovic summer chase…
As per numerous sources, Spurs were interested in signing the Serbian powerhouse over the summer as managing director Fabio Paratici sought a backup striker to Harry Kane.

The Times even suggested that talks were held over Vlahovic while a report from Fantacalcio went one step further, claiming Spurs actually made a formal bid.
Sharing the latest, Romano has dropped an update on the £36m-valued beast and his intentions moving forward.
The Latest: Vlahovic blow for Spurs?
As per the reliable journalist, Spurs may now be dealt a blow in their pursuit of Vlahovic as new deal talks at Fiorentina become ‘underway’.
“Tottenham were interested this summer,” Romano explained.
“Atletico Madrid offered €60m plus % on future sale: Fiorentina and Vlahovic with his agent said no.
“New contract talks are currently underway.”
The Verdict: Big miss…
Signing Vlahovic would have been a major coup for manager Nuno Espirito Santo, going by the 21-year-old’s impressive haul of 21 goals in Serie A alone last season.
He has continued that impressive form into the current campaign, bagging five goals in just four matches across all competitions (Transfermarkt).
Lauded as ‘crazy’ by former Partizan Belgrade teammate Valeri Bojinov, he could have been a brilliant signing for Spurs if only they had secured his services in the summer.
